|Celebrate the joy of the holiday season with the City of Lakes Chorus. This concert will showcase some of your favorite holiday songs and stories, old and new. The award-winning Minnesota Boychoir and chorus quartets will bring an added dimension of joy to the stage. The City of Lakes Chorus has been dazzling audiences in the Minneapolis/St Paul area and across the country since 1952. Individually they are business women, nurses, mothers, teachers, students, retirees and more – but together they are an internationally-ranked women’s barbershop chorus. City of Lakes Chorus is a non-profit organization and a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Minnesota Boychoir was founded in 1962 and is the oldest boy choir in the Twin Cities. This June, the choir took a 55th anniversary tour to Spain and the French Riviera. They have also performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, American Public Media's A Prairie Home Companion and have toured across the country and the world.
