  • Joy! A Celebration of the Season
  •
  •  Wed, Sep 27 2017
Celebrate the joy of the holiday season with the City of Lakes Chorus. This concert will showcase some of your favorite holiday songs and stories, old and new. The award-winning Minnesota Boychoir and chorus quartets will bring an added dimension of joy to the stage. The City of Lakes Chorus has been dazzling audiences in the Minneapolis/St Paul area and across the country since 1952. Individually they are business women, nurses, mothers, teachers, students, retirees and more – but together they are an internationally-ranked women’s barbershop chorus. City of Lakes Chorus is a non-profit organization and a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Minnesota Boychoir was founded in 1962 and is the oldest boy choir in the Twin Cities.  This June, the choir took a 55th anniversary tour to Spain and the French Riviera. They have also performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, American Public Media's A Prairie Home Companion and have toured across the country and the world.
