Save the date for "This Is Harmony" a collaboration of Great Northern Union Chorus, City of Lakes Chorus, and two fantastic internationally renown quartets GQ and Instant Classic!

Instant Classic is the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2015 International Quartet Champion, comprised of David Zimmerman (tenor), Theo Hicks (lead), Kohl Kitzmiller (baritone), and Kyle Kitzmiller (bass). They are four good friends with a passion for barbershop harmony, a cappella music, and youth outreach. They perform a variety of music from several decades and styles, including vocal jazz, musical theater, pop, and even R&B!

GQ is an award-winning Sweet Adelines International a cappella and barbershop quartet from Baltimore, Maryland. Their members are Amanda McNutt, Ali Hauger, Katie Gillis and Katie Macdonald, four great friends who have a passion for creating a unique sound spanning a variety of genres and decades. 

GQ and Instant Classic have also sung 8-part arranagements together many times, and are planning to bring some of their amazing "very large quartet" harmonies to the GNU stage!

We'll be singing at a new venue this spring. Located at 500 Cedar St, Saint Paul, 55101, Central Presbyterian Church is a spacious performance space in the heart of Saint Paul with easy access via the Green Line LRT as well as I-94 and I-35E. The church is within walking distance of numerous restaurants sure to please any palate, and there is plenty of convenient off-street parking.
